Remixing has come a long way over the past decade. This is due, in no small part, to advancements in music-making technology, especially computers and software. In the past, only songs that were at, or near, a dance tempo were good candidates for remixing. Today, the vocals from practically any song, regardless of its original tempo, can be massaged and manipulated.
